Our Breeding Cats

At Kimaya Ragdolls, the health and happiness of our cats always comes first. All of our breeding cats are DNA tested clear of HCM and PKD before joining our cattery, and we’re committed to providing them with the very best veterinary care throughout their lives. This includes regular vet check-ups, up-to-date vaccinations, and any treatments they may need to stay in tip-top shape.

We also believe that good health starts with great nutrition, so all of our breeding cats enjoy a balanced, high-quality diet to support their wellbeing. When it comes to selecting our breeding pairs, we’re very careful to consider not just their lineage and health, but also their temperament—we want to ensure that every kitten we raise is a shining example of the Ragdoll breed in both looks and personality.

When our kittens are ready to leave their mum, we take the time to find them loving, responsible forever homes. We chat with potential owners to make sure they’re prepared and committed to giving their kitten a safe, nurturing environment. This helps us feel confident that each kitten is going to a home where they’ll be truly cherished.

We also love to stay in touch with our kitten families! Whether it’s a question about care, a cute photo update, or just a check-in, we’re always here to offer support and guidance along the way. We believe in creating lasting connections with our families and being part of our kittens’ lives long after they’ve gone to their new homes.

Health and Well-being

At Kimaya Ragdolls, we go above and beyond to make sure our cats live happy, healthy, and safe lives. The well-being of our feline family is our top priority, and we’re proud to maintain the highest standards of care in everything we do.

We work closely with certified veterinarians who visit our cattery regularly to ensure everything is up to scratch (pardon the pun!). During these visits, our vets perform thorough health checks, give vaccinations, and provide any necessary treatments. Our cats also get regular check-ups—including dental care—to help them stay in tip-top shape.

Alongside excellent vet care, we place a big focus on nutrition. All our cats enjoy a high-quality, balanced diet that’s tailored to their individual needs. Fresh water is always available, and we keep a close eye on their food intake to make sure everyone’s eating well and thriving.

Our cattery is designed to be both comfortable and stimulating. Our cats enjoy spacious, secure living areas, complete with cozy beds, climbing towers, scratching posts, and plenty of toys for mental and physical enrichment. They’ve got room to stretch, play, and just be cats—exactly how it should be!

We also keep things sparkling clean with a strict hygiene routine. Bedding and litter boxes are cleaned and replaced regularly, and all areas are disinfected to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

For added peace of mind, our cattery is built with secure fencing and enclosures to prevent any accidents or unwelcome visitors. Safety is key, and we’ve put every measure in place to protect our precious cats.

Our mission is simple: to give our Ragdolls the best life possible. We’re constantly learning, improving, and working with professionals to ensure we’re always offering the very best care to our beautiful cats.

Visiting our cattery

At Kimaya Ragdolls, the health and well-being of our cats and kittens is always our top priority. For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting general cattery tours. Limiting foot traffic through our home helps us keep our environment clean, safe, and stress-free—so we can continue to raise happy, healthy kittens for loving families like yours.

That said, if you’ve reserved a kitten or are interested in choosing your kitten in person, we are more than happy to arrange a meet and greet. These special visits give you the opportunity to spend time with the kittens, ask questions, and of course—fall in love with your new little family member!

When you visit, we’ll ensure a smooth and enjoyable adoption experience. We’ll introduce you to your chosen kitten, walk you through all the important paperwork, and provide a comprehensive kitten pack with everything you need to know. Your kitten will already be desexed, vaccinated, dewormed, health checked, and well on their way to being a confident, affectionate companion.

We completely understand how exciting it is to meet your new kitten, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support of our policies. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe, healthy environment for all our Ragdolls, and we’re so grateful for that.
